When we are talking about the GAME TERMS we are thinking of the field, the spaces on the field, the spots on the field, the areas to attack on the field, the critical moments during the game, and the overall game within the game...ALWAYS REMEMBER, "the game within the game wins the game."

Space Behind- the area behind the defense
Space Infront- the area in front of the defense
Space Between- the area between defenders

1st Space- the area in front of the checking strong side forward
2nd Space- the area behind the wide defenders
3rd Space- the area in front of the checking weak-side 3rd forward
4th Space- the area in front of the checking weak-side ACM
5th Space- the area outside of the overlapping weak-side OSMD
6th Space- the area in front of the combining DCM
7th Space- the area outside of the overlapping MB

The Spots
Hard Spots- dangerous areas of the field where the ball cannot be lost
Soft Spots- open areas of the field that pressures the other team
